Here are the three spotlight candidates for adoption this week from Chesterfield County Animal Services.
Marley is a five-month old Yellow Lab. He is very sweet and affectionate and would be an ideal pet. He will be fully vetted before adoption.
Champ is a one-year old Black Lab. He is very energetic and loves children and attention. He will be fully vetted before adoption.
Betty is a year-and-a-half old Hound mix. She is fun loving and playful. She will be fully vetted before adoption.
The adoption fee is $100 and includes all vetting procedures. This includes: DAPP vaccine, bordattela/kennel cough vaccine, deworming, flea treatment, heartworm test for dogs over nine months old or FELV test for cats and kittens, rabies vaccine and a spay or neuter.

The shelter is in specific need of donated towels and bleach. They always need kitty litter and all types of dog, cat, kitten or puppy food. Your donations are greatly appreciated. If you have anything you are no longer using for your pet, most likely the shelter could use it.
