Central High student recognized by National Merit Scholarship program

Senior Gina Martin of Central High School was one of 34,000 students in the nation to be recognized for her academic performance. Last month principal Judd Starling announced Martin was named a Commended Student in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship program. A letter of commendation from CHS and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation was presented to Martin. Starling said it is an honor to have a student recognized for academics on a national level.
