Christmas magic coming to Jefferson

The Jefferson Christmas Magic Parade will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 in downtown Jefferson.
The parade route begins on West Church Street at the Jefferson Town Hall and moves down Main Street for three blocks to the Jefferson Methodist Church.  
Parade line-up begins at 5 p.m. and there is no entry form necessary.  There will be pictures with Santa Claus before the parade at Jefferson Presbyterian Church at 3 p.m..
Other Christmas Magic events include Jefferson’s annual Christmas house judging and Tree of Life judging Friday, Dec. 6.  Any home or business in the town limits with lights on will be judged.
The third annual Tree of Care Christmas tree lighting will also be Friday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. at Jefferson Town Hall.  
Bows for the Tree of Care lighting may be purchased at Jefferson Town Hall for $5 in memory or honor of a loved one.  
All proceeds go to benefit Hospice of Chesterfield County.
