The local chapter of the South Carolina Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association met at Central High School on Thursday, Feb. 9 in the school’s band room for their weekly dinner. Agricultural teacher Tim Maye said the group has been active for more than 25 years.
“It’s a lot of work and we get a lot of help from local farmers in the area. We have good speakers to come out to our meetings and share a lot of information with us on different topics,” he said. “We feed them dinner made by the students. The community really supports us.”
