The local chapter of the South Carolina Young Farmers and Agribusiness Association met at Central High School on Thursday, Feb. 16 in the school’s band room for their weekly dinner. Agricultural teacher Tim Maye said he invited Ricky Williams to speak about coyote trapping for this week’s topic of discussion.
“This is a topic people are really interested in,” Williams said. “Coyotes are moving into our area and they’re threatening the cattle and other animals in our community.”
