Acting up

A Pageland man was arrested and charged with Second Degree Assault and Battery, Damaging Personal Property and Resisting arrest on Jan. 17.

A Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Department report said Deputy Buddy Cole went to 815 Philadelphia Church Road, Pageland, where a 37-year-old woman told him Roger David Little, 46, 1520 Brewer Road, Pageland, had hit her in the eye. Cole reported the woman’s eye was swollen shut.
