Faulkenberry, Norton marry

Samantha Faulkenberry of Ruby and Corbin Norton of Cheraw were united in marriage on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Fariview Baptist Church in Mt. Croghan.

The Rev. Harold Cooke officiated at the ceremony. A reception followed in the church fellowship hall.

The bride is the daughter of Junior and Angela Faulkenberry of Ruby. She is the granddaughter of Ruby J. Sims and the late Billy Sims of Ruby, and the late Willard and Rena Faulkenberry of Chesterfield.

She is a 2011 graduate of Chesterfield High School and a 2014 graduate of Northeastern Technical College.

She is employed as an administrative assistant at Sandhills Ambulance Service.

The groom is a son of Derek and Meg Norton of Cheraw. He is a grandson of Elizabeth Norton and the late Hubert Norton of Cheraw, and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Rollins of Cheraw.

He is a 2009 graduate of Cheraw High School and a 2014 graduate of Northeastern Technical College.

He is employed as director of operations at Sandhills Ambulance Service.

Matron of honor was Tori Cooke of Chesterfield. Bridesmaids were Hannah Brigman of Pageland, Heather McAlister of Chesterfield and Bethany Roscoe of Mt. Croghan.

Flower girl was Shaye Ratliff of Ruby.

The best man was Derek Norton, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Chase Faulkenberry, brother of the bride; and Robert Norton of Chesterfield, cousin of the groom.

Ring bearer was Owen Johnson of Cheraw, cousin of the bride.

Soloist was Joseph Norris of Hartsville.

The wedding was directed by Tammy D. Griffin, cousin of the bride. Guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Jason Terry, and Mrs. Susan B. Melton.

After a honeymoon on Hilton Head Island, the couple resides in Cheraw.
