Columbia - United States Attorney Bill Nettles announced last week that Brenda Poston, 40, of Florence plead guilty to an indictment charging her with issuing fraudulent commercial drivers licenses and obtaining a fraudulent social security number for a drivers license, violations of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1001.
The maximum penalty for the offense is a fine of $250,000 and/or imprisonment for five years, a term of supervised release of not more than three years to be served after the term of incarceration is completed, and a special assessment of $100.
