The New Heights Middle School boys’ basketball team started the week 2-0 but ended it 2-2.
At Darlington on Monday, Dec. 5 the Hawks came up on the short end of a 37-21 score. The home team led 19-8 at halftime.
Scoring for the Hawks were Tyrek Miller with eight points and nine rebounds; James Jordan with five points and Dante Blakeney, Calrico Miller, Danonta Robinson and Jarvis, who each had two points. The Hawks had 16 turnovers.
Thursday, Dec. 8 at McBee, New Heights lost 47-38. McBee led 24-13 at halftime.
