The students in Mrs. Shirley Threatt and Miss Kimberly Danzy’s kindergarten class exhibited their talents in different activities during field day on Tuesday, May 17. There were traditional and unique events. Students participated in a tricycle race, art drawing contest and kickball. During the water-jar event, teams had to dip a sponge in a bucket, race to the jar and wring the water out of the sponge and the first team completing the task where declared the winners. In the clothes race, the students had to put on oversized clothes and complete an obstacle course. There was also a balloon walk, where students raced with a balloon between their knees. This was the last chance for the kindergartners to play before they graduate on June 2.
