Learning about businesses

Fifty-five children from Pageland Head Start visited The Progressive Journal with their teachers on Thursday, Feb. 9 to learn about the newspaper business. They heard about how reporters gather information, write articles, take photographs and put the pages together to be printed. The group was so large they came in two sessions at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.
