New Kid on the Block

Anthony and Vanessa M. Cassidy announce the birth of a daughter, Ashton Leigh Cassidy, born Feb. 17, 2011, at Presbyterian Hospital Matthews. She weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and measured 20 ½ inches. Grandparents are James and Eloise Moree of Pageland, Barbara Cassidy and Michael Black of Ruby, and Tony and Mandi Cassidy of Ruby. Great-grandparents are Myrtle Moree of Pageland and Clara Short of Ruby.
