William Turner
JEFFERSON – William “Buddy” J. Turner, 73, died March 26, 2012. A funeral service was held March 28, 2012 at Jefferson First Baptist Church with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Surviving are Cheryl Turner of the home; son Mark Turner of Pageland; brothers Tom Turner of Hutchenson, Kan. and Belton Rhodes of Woodruff; Sisters, Genell Wood of Woodruff,, Lois Nelson of Laurens and Roberta Hardin of Woodruff, and three grandchildren.

Dorothy Miller
JEFFERSON – Dorothy S. Miller, 52, died March 26, 2012. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Surviving are her son Kevin Johnson of Williamsburg, Ky.; daughter Valerie O’Reilly of Reary, Ky.; brother Tom Miller of Florida; sisters Pat Luka of Detroit, Rose Miller of Tecumsh, Mich., Donna Comer of Florida and Edna Miller.

Tim Polson
CHESTERFEILD – Mr. Tim Polson, 47, died March 21, 2012. A funeral service was held March 24, 2012 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel.
Surviving are daughter Brittany Anne Polson of Patrick; mother Sarah Davis Polson of Cheraw; brother Sam Polson of Wallace and sister Becky P. Teal of Cheraw.

Charles Skipper
MCFARLAN, N.C. – Mr. Charles Henry Skipper, 79, died March 22, 2012. A funeral service was held March 24, 2012 at Maranatha Family Center, Cheraw with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, McFarlan, N.C. with Masonic Rites and Military Honors.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Braswell Skipper of the home; son Charles Quentin Skipper of Cheraw; daughter Celeste Dixon of Darlington; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sister Minnie Ruth Ratley of McColl.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield, was in charge of the arrangements.


Ronald Johnson
PAGELAND – Mr. Ronald D. “Ronnie” Johnson, 61, died March 28, 2012 at his home. A funeral service was held March 31, 2012 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Family Life Center with burial in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Watson Johnson of the home; daughters Lora J. Smith of Mooresville, N.C. and Ronna J. Nabors of Clinton; six grandchildren; brothers Harold Johnson of Lugoff and Glenn Johnson of Jefferson; sisters Mary Lou Watkins of Rembert and Sybil Kirkley of Jefferson.

Jennette Hodge
CHESTERFIELD – Mrs. Jennette Brock Hodge, 91, died March 29, 2012. A funeral service was held April 1, 2012 at Fairview Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Surviving are sons Asia Hodge and Homer Hodge and Wayne Hodge, all of Ruby, Charles Hodge of Lancasterr and Rex Hodge of Chesterfield; Daughters Audrey Parker and Louise Hancock, both of Ruby, Bonnie  Parsons of St. Petersburg Fla,,  Betty Boatwright of Columbia and Judy Campbell of Chesterfield; 27 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.
