Jenny Purvis
CHESTERFIELD –Mrs. Jenny Annell Purvis, 41, died March 15, 2012 at her home. A graveside service was held March 18, 2012 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Joe Purvis of the home and brothers Joey Teal of Chesterfield and Johnny Mack Teal of Cheraw.
Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield, was in charge of the arrangements.


Marie Courtney
PAGELAND – Mrs. Marie Annette Courtney, 49, died March 10, 2012. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Surviving are her husband Christopher W. “Chris” Rape of the home; son Colby Courtney of Pageland; brother Gary Courtney of Powder Springs, Ga. and
Sister Cathy Knight of Pageland.

Betty Moore
CHESTERFEILD – Mrs. Betty Gulledge Moore, 74, died March 17, 2012. A graveside service was held March 19, 2012 at Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Surviving are son Jeff Moore of Chesterfield; daughters, Tonja Pilgrim of Edmond, Okla., Karen Honeycutt and Robin Schauer both of Chesterfield and Kisa Moore of Cheraw; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers  Henry Gulledge of Patrick,  and Walter Gulledge of Kannapolis, N.C. and sister Peggy  Emanuel of Patrick.

Dorothy Livesay
CHARLOTTE, NC – Dorothy Horton Livesay, 93, died March 20, 2012. A funeral service was held March 24, 2012 at Sutton-Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery.
Surviving are sisters Iva H. Bailey of Mooresville, N.C., Margaret Troxler-Honea of Matthews, N.C. and Sarah H. Todd of Charlotte.

Stephen Love Jr.
PAGELAND – Stephen Wiley Love Jr., 82, died March 23, 2012. A funeral service was held March 26, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Pageland with burial in the church cemetery.
Surviving are sons Steve Love of Pageland, Dr. Ray Love of Charles Town, W.Va.;. five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Douglas Kilcoyne
PAGELAND – Douglas Charles Kilcoyne, 51, passed away at Levine Dickenson Hospice House in Huntersville, N.C. on Wednesday March 21, 2012.
Doug was born June 24, 1960 in Freeport, Ill. to Charles and Dorothea Kilcoyne. He was preceded in death by his brother, Darryl.
His family moved to Weaverville, N.C. in 1973.  He earned his diploma from North Buncombe High School in 1978.  
Upon graduating, he moved back to Freeport and started his first job at Micro Switch where he worked four years, earning his apprenticeship in Tool and Die.  From there he moved to Asheville, N.C. and continued pursuing various jobs in CNC Machining.  Relocating to Pageland, he furthered his career in machining at Douglas Machine Shop and Conbraco where he specialized in precision machining and programming.  
At the beginning of his eight year career at Conbraco, he worked diligently as a CNC Operator eventually working his way to Production Supervisor of Conbraco’s Flaring Bar Department.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sons Sean Kilcoyne (Patrice) of Hampton, Va. and Christopher Kilcoyne of Pageland; daughter  Ashley Gambacort of Asheville, N.C.; sisters Connie Kilcoyne of Charlotte and Cindy Rodman (Mike) of Hendersonville, N.C.; brother Timmy Benson of Charlotte; granddaughters Paola, Victoria and Naomi Kilcoyne of Hampton, Va. and  Hailey Davis of Pageland.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at The Parish of St. Eugenes Catholic Church, Asheville, N.C.
Arrangements are in care of Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail, N.C.

Lawson Raffaldt
MT. CROGHAN –  Mr. Lawson Raffaldt, 90, died March 22, 2012 at his home. A funeral service was held
March 25, 2012 at Fairview Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie Jordan Crawley Raffaldt of the home; daughters Brenda Moody of Surfside Beach and Judy  Love of Pageland; three  randchildren; five  great grandchildren; brother, Olin Raffaldt of Spartanburg andsisters Ruby Sheriff of Westminster and Sadie Catoe of Lancaster.
