Pageland Council wants trash cans off the streets

The Pageland Town Council may be proud of the town’s new rollout trash carts, but that doesn’t mean they want to see them all the time. The council passed first reading of an ordinance that would allow residents to leave the trash containers beside the street for no more than 48 hours, up to 24 hours before and after the scheduled pickup time.
