Pageland Elementary fourth grader Dakota Meade was selected by the Chesterfield County School District to attend the 2012 South Carolina Young Writers’ Conference on Saturday, Mar. 10 at Ballentine Elementary School in Columbia. Meade will be among the state’s best writers and he will hear speeches from published authors and illustrators. The district selected Meade based on his story he wrote about a fictional Greek god.
