Pageland trash carts are ready to roll

Residents of the Town of Pageland will receive blue roll out garbage carts this week. All Town garbage customers will receive the blue 95-gallon carts with the exception of those using dumpsters.
The new carts will serve a couple of purposes, according to Pageland Mayor Brian Hough.
“The roll out carts will eliminate trash being placed by the curb in bags,” Hough said. “This will make the appearance of the town neater and keep dogs from scattering trash. It should also make our trash collection speedier and more efficient.”
