Pusser-DeMarco wedding

Emily Paige Pusser of Chesterfield and Peter James DeMarco of Bloomsburg, Penn. were wed July 20, 2011 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Chesterfield.
Rev. Rebecca Huguely and Fr. Michael David officiated the 6 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Ernest Hugh Pusser Sr. of Chesterfield and the late Ernest Hugh Pusser Sr. Granparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Valentino Sr. and the late Mr. Louis Davis Rivers and Mr. and Mrs. John Welborn Pusser Sr.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Michael James DeMarco of Bloomsburg, Penn. Grandparents of the groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sanborn of South Hadley, Mass. And Mr. and Mrs. Harold DeMarco of Quincy, Mass.
The bride was presented for marriage by her mother and family. She was escorted by her grandfather, Joseph Valentino Sr.
The bride chose a candlelight designer gown of silk crepe by Mon Cheri. The formal floor-length gown was accented with freshwater pearls and Australian crystals.
The dress featured a softly curved neckline and spaghetti straps. The empire waist was covered with ivory satin ribbon and horizontal beading.
The semi-Cathedral length skirt and train featured an intricate silver embroidery pattern scattered around with diamond-shaped lace appliqués.
She wore an ivory veil accented with pearls and carried a boquet of ivory and sterling roses.
The bride’s sister, Erin Hope Pusser of Florence, Italy was Maid of Honor. She wore a formal staggered tea-length gown in eggplant that featured an empire waist. The chiffon bodice and skirt flowed softly over a taffeta and crepe gown. She carried a bouquet of sterling roses.
The Bridesmaids were Sarah Dowsley of Memphis, Jessie Godfrey of Oakland, Chandler McLean of Fayetteville, N.C., Jennifer Wilder of New York and Emma Rivers of Florence, S.C. Their dresses were identical to the one worn by the Maid of Honor and each carried a bouquet of sterling roses.
The flower girl was Sienna Rivers of Chesterfield. She wore a floor-length candlelight white gown that featured a chiffon sash in eggplant. She carried a rose kissing ball.
The Best Person was Mrs. Andrew Brixius of Centerville, Va., sister of the groom. She wore a black formal gown identical in style to the Bridesmaids’ dresses. She carried a single long-stemmed rose.
The Groomsmen were Cameron Babbit, Tyler Bandy, Andrew Brixius, Derek Snook, and Wyatt Rivers.
The Ring Bearers were Christian Brixius, Luke Brixius, Ryan Brixius, Zachary Brixius and Davis Lucey.
Music was provided by organist Anne Bryan and soloist and guitarist Joseph Dowsley.
James Sanborn of Berwyn, Penn. was the scripture reader. Heather Rivers, cousin of the bride, was the registry attendant. The greeters for the ceremony and reception were June Avant, Joy Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Hardison.
After the ceremony the bride’s mother and sister hosted a formal dinner and dance at Green River Country Club in Chesterfield.
After a trip to St. John Island the couple resides in Palo Alto, Calif.
Following a wedding rehearsal July 29 the groom’s parents hosted a dinner at Oskars Restaurant in Cheraw.
