Occupation: Owner of Butch Peques Inc., a trucking business. Owner of a backhoe and construction business
Favorite meal: Fried chicken, chitlins, rice and collard greens
Favorite TV show: “Sanford and Son”
How you spend your days? Working, fishing and doing some rabbit hunting
Where is the last place you traveled? My wife and I traveled to Detroit, Mich. last November. We lived there for 15 years. 
If you could do anything, what would it be? I would build a low-income housing development in the area.
What do you want the public to know about you? I am dependable, reliable and especially predictable. I served in the U.S. Navy for four years.
What is your favorite memory? Growing up in a good extended family
Do you have any regrets in life? No.
Name three things you are grateful for? My health, strength and God being a big part of my life
Words you live by: Do the best you can because that’s all God requires of you.
