Union County EMS assists Pageland

A Pageland man was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence on Feb. 7. Pageland P.D. Capt. Clarence Francis reported he was dispatched to a call about a vehicle in a ditch on Griggs Street. He reported other officers were at the scene and as he pulled up he saw Daryl Edward Melton, 36, 206 E. Pigg Street, leaning against a police car with cuts on his head.
