 Here are our three spotlight candidates for adoption this week from Chesterfield County Animal Services.

Tommy is a 2-year-old male hound mix. He is very laid back and easy going. Tommy gets along great with other dogs but does not like cats. He will be fully vetted before adoption.

Mossy is a 10-month-old female boxer mix.  She is a fun-loving girl and full of energy. Mossy will be fully vetted before adoption.

Brenda is a 1.5-year-old female plott hound mix. She is easy going and does great with other animals. Brenda will be fully vetted before adoption..

The adoption fee is $100 and includes all vetting procedures. These are micro-chipping, DAPP vaccine, bordattela/kennel cough vaccine, deworming, flea treatment, heartworm test for dogs over 9 months old or FELV test for cats and kittens, rabies vaccine and a spay or neuter.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shelter hours to the public are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., except on Wednesday which is 1 to 4 p.m.  Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to noon and Sunday hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Donations needed

The shelter is in specific need of towels and bleach. 

We always need kitty litter and all types of dog, cat, kitten or puppy food. 

Donations are greatly appreciated.

 If you have anything you are no longer using for your pet, most likely the shelter could use it.
