A Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested a Pageland man for being intoxicated at a Central High School football game on Oct. 5.
A deputy observed Edward Leon Threatt, 46, of Thompson Creek Road, leaning against a fence. According to the report, Threatt was “unsuccessfully” trying to walk.
The deputy smelled alcohol on Threatt’s breath and saw a clear bottle in his back pocket. The deputy escorted Threatt from the stadium and took him to the Chesterfield County Detention Center. Threatt was  charged with public intoxication.
