Central nears mid-point of volleyball season

Central won the deciding fifth set against Chesterfield last week to improve to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in the region.
Coach Logan Parker said the game with Chesterfield was the best her team has hit this season. Payton Evans came off the bench to lead the team with seven kills. “We had more kills than any other game,” Parker said.
Evans played in the deciding fifth set which Central won, 27-25.
Earlier in the week, Central lost to Buford in four sets.
Central plays Andrew Jackson on Tuesday and McBee on Wednesday.
