“God Bless the Broken Road” is showing at the Ball Theatre through Sept. 20 and maybe extended for another week, says theater manager Rodney Nicholson.
The film opened nationally and in Pageland on Sept. 7.
The faith-based film is about a widowed mother and her nine-year daughter and their struggles following her husband’s death while serving in Afghanistan.
The title comes from a song originally recorded by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, “Bless the Broken Road.” The song has been covered by Rascal Flatts and Selah.
