Northeastern Technical College won three Medallion Awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations at the organization’s District 2 conference in Biloxi, Miss.
The Medallion awards honor outstanding achievement in marketing and communications, and it is the only regional competition that recognizes excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.  
NETC was awarded a Gold Medallion of Excellence for the design of the college’s new Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit Student Handbook, a Bronze Medallion in the social media campaign category with the “NETC Mannequin Challenge,” and a Bronze Medallion for the design of the college’s new student prospect card.
NCMPR District 2 includes community colleges in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and The Bahamas.
