    CHESTERFIELD – Mr. J. L. Roscoe, 80, died March 27, 2011. A funeral service was held  March 31, 2011 at Chesterfield Baptist Church with burial in the Chesterfield Cemetery.
    Surviving are, one granddaughter; brothers, Reece Roscoe of Cheraw and Billy Roscoe of Irmo, sisters, Pat Gainey of Cheraw, and Aronica Teal of Chesterfield; half brothers, Johnny Ray Roscoe of Patrick and Ervin Wayne Roscoe of Hamlet, N.C.
    Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield, was in charge of the arrangements.

    PAGELAND – Mr. Wyman Joe Lisenby, 53, died Friday, March 25, 2011. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will  follow in the Philadelphia Baptist Church cemetery in Marshville, N.C.
    Surviving are sisters Robin Rivers, Scarlett German, and Shelia Owens all of Pageland, mother-in-law: Annie Mae Sneed Oster of Marshville, N.C. and Brother-in-law Randy Oster of Marshville, N.C.

    Nancy Foard
    PAGELAND – Mrs. Nancy Helen Hayes Foard passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011.  Born on May 17, 1923 in Union County, North Carolina, she was the fifth daughter of James Frederick Hayes and Bright Belk Hayes.  When Nancy was two years old her father died, leaving her mother to raise their six daughters, ranging in age from 11 years to two weeks old.

    CHERAW –  Mrs. Mary Magdalene Funderburk, died March 14, 2011. A funeral service was held March 19, 2011 at  Mount Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
    Surviving are a son, Jessie Funderburk and four grandsons.
    Flemming Funeral Home-Pageland was in charge of the arrangements.

    CHESTERFIELD – Mr. Dewey Charles Smith, died March 19, 2011. A funeral service was held March 23, 2011 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with burial in the Chesterfield Community Cemetery.
    Surviving are, son, Johnny Thomas; and a host of grandchildren.
    Flemming Funeral Home was in chargeof the arrangements.

    Surviving are her husband, Walter Truesdale; four sisters, Catherine Miller Jefferson, Johnnie M. Rorie, Charlotte, Derilla Frazier, Chattanooga, Tenn. and Gayle Funderburk, Jefferson and three grandchildren,

    CHESTERFIELD – Mr. Jimmy C. Freeman, 75, died March 25, 2011. A funeral service was held March 28, 2011 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel with a private family service at White Oak Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
    Surviving are his wife of 55 years: Julieth “Teenie” Lisenby Freeman of the home, sons, Michael Freeman of Fayetteville, N.C. and Greg Freeman of Ruby; daughter Ann Chapman of Hartsville,  four  grandchildren;  sister Atha Lou Gibson of Cheraw.
