A little teamwork brings down Landrum as the Eagles swarm the ball during Friday’s playoff shutout. Central hosts Batesburg-Leesville for round two of the AA Upper State playoffs.

LANDRUM – The most telling aspect in Central’s 28-0 playoff win over Landrum is found not in game’s statistics, but in the play-by-play game chart.
Landrum had the ball 11 times.
Five times Central’s defense stopped Landrum on three downs and forced a punt on fourth down.
Once, the Central defense stopped a run on fourth down and another time, sacked the quarterback just before the half. 
Three times the Central defense forced turnovers – interceptions by Daylan Robinson, Sebastian Richardson and JR Reid.
